A March 28, 2008 email from the photographer, skagitstan, explains this image: "The pic was taken yesterday morning (27 March) on Lyman Hill, at about 500 feet above the Skagit Valley floor. The snow arrived that night, and melted off by early afternoon. We expect more snow today."
